Do you want to publish your manuscript in an international journal? Our team of expert translators is on hand to offer you the kind of translation that will give you the very best chance of impressing reviewers.
The translation of an academic manuscript requires close cooperation between the translator and author. Throughout the process, we’ll be in touch with any questions we have to make sure that together we create the perfect translation. Before beginning, we always like to schedule a meeting via Skype or in person for you to tell us about your research.
Knowing which journal you intend to submit your manuscript to is essential for us to ensure it doesn’t fall at the first hurdle.
Journals tend to have different presentation, style and quotation guidelines, which must be followed if your article is to be accepted by journal editors and reviewers.
For example, the Harvard International Law Journal requires an abstract of no more than 250 words, whilst articles submitted to the Oxford Journal of Legal Studies must be accompanied by an abstract of no more than 150 words. Likewise, The Lancet uses British spelling, whilst The New England Journal of Medicine opts for American spelling. This is all very important for us to know to be able to provide you with a translation which is fit for purpose.
