OFFICIAL TRANSLATIONS FOR USE IN THE UK
That is because documents issued in a language other than English to be used for official purposes in the UK require a certified translation. This involves the translator or agency attaching a written statement to your translation which contains a statement confirming that the translation is a ‘true and accurate translation of the original document’, as well as the full name and contact details of the translator.
Our certified translations are accepted by the UK Home Office, HM Courts & Tribunals, HM Passport Office, UK NARIC, the DVLA and academic institutions.

DO I NEED A SWORN OF CERTIFIED TRANSLATION?
Unlike Spain, the UK does not have a system of sworn translators. Instead, translations required for official purposes are certified by a translator belonging to a professional translation body. At British Translators, we are a member of the UK’s leading translation body, the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL).
All our certified translators are native English speakers, unlike the vast majority of sworn translators, meaning premium-quality and highly-accurate translations.
